1. Introduction

Welcome to Adrien Marsden's applications. We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing high-quality experiences across our social, matchmaking, fitness, and productivity tools. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data, and how we use cookies to support our services.

2. International Data Transfers (US Data Residency)

Our applications are powered by Google Cloud (Firebase) and similar cloud infrastructure.

  • Storage Location: All personal data, account information, match data (Stitch), project data (Podka), and audio content (WifeyLifey) are stored on servers located primarily in the United States.
  • Legal Framework: For users in the EU, UK, and Switzerland, data is transferred to the US under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure your data receives a level of protection equivalent to the GDPR.

3. Information We Collect

  • Account Data: Username, email address, and profile photo.
  • Application Data: The content you create or log, such as "soundbites" (WifeyLifey), collaborative project details (Podka), matchmaking preferences (Stitch), or multiplayer game data and interactions (DinkDink!). On the website, gameplay data from DinkDink! may be used for performance, matchmaking, and advertisement delivery. The DinkDink! iOS app does none of this — it serves no advertising, carries no advertising identifier, and does not track you across apps or websites. Please note that multiplayer matches in DinkDink! are public spaces. By playing multiplayer, you explicitly consent to other players recording your gameplay and voice audio, and potentially sharing it on social media. You should have no expectation of privacy during multiplayer gameplay, similar to playing on a public physical court.
  • Stitch (Live Voice Matching): Stitch sessions are public conversations. By joining a session, you explicitly consent to other users recording your voice, username, and any content you share during the session — through screen recording, screenshots, or external devices — and potentially sharing it on social media or other platforms. You should have no expectation of privacy during a Stitch session. See our Terms of Service for the full release and waiver.
  • WifeyLifey Public Posts: Soundbites, comments, public profile information (username, avatar, voice, map activity), and other content you post publicly within WifeyLifey are visible to other users. By posting, you explicitly consent to other users capturing this content — through screen recording, screenshots, downloads, link sharing, or any other means — and re-sharing it on social media or other platforms. You should have no expectation of privacy for content you publish on WifeyLifey.
  • Financial & Identity Data: If you participate in our monetization or affiliate programs, we may collect and pass necessary financial and tax information directly to our trusted "Third Party Processors" (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full bank account or routing numbers directly on our servers.
  • Usage Data: IP addresses, device type, and app interaction logs collected automatically.
  • Tracking Data: Information collected via cookies for analytics and advertising. This applies to our websites only. Our iOS apps do not use advertising cookies, do not access the device advertising identifier (IDFA), and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites; the analytics they do collect are used solely to understand how the app itself is performing.
  • Ads for other apps from this developer (free iOS apps and Widdle on the web): Widdle and DinkDink show ads for other apps from the same developer, labelled “Other apps from this developer”. No ad network is involved and no personal data is used to choose or show them; nothing about an ad being shown or tapped leaves the phone or the browser. On the web, which ad comes next is decided in the browser and the count is kept in that browser’s storage (in the EEA, UK and Switzerland only after cookie consent; without it, in memory for the visit); nothing is sent. The apps and the site download the ad text, pictures and clips from the developer’s own storage; that request carries only what any download does (the IP address and standard request headers) and nothing is kept from it. One purchase in each iOS app removes the ads; on the web the No ads or Reaction camera monthly plan removes them.
  • Widdle partner program: if you join as a partner, we keep the counts of clicks, sign-ups and sales attributed to your link or code, your earnings and payout records, your Stripe Connect account id and the status of your tax form. This is processed to perform the partner agreement (contract). Payout account details are held by Stripe, not by us. You can ask for deletion; earnings owed are paid out or expire first.

4. Google Ads Tag

The sites use a Google Ads tag to measure clicks and sign-ups that come from the developer’s own Google Ads campaigns; in the EEA, UK and Switzerland it runs only after cookie consent. No ads are served on the sites. How Google handles data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

5. Cookie Policy

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience.

A. Types of Cookies Used:

  • Strictly Necessary: Essential for logging in and account security functionality across our apps. These do not require consent.
  • Performance/Analytics: We use aggregated analytics (like Google Analytics) to understand how users interact with our platforms.
  • Advertising: Where applicable, we use platforms like Google AdSense to serve ads and make them more relevant to your interests.

B. Your Consent (EU/UK Users):

In compliance with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, personalized advertising and analytics cookies will only be deployed if you provide explicit consent via a Consent Management Platform (CMP) when available. You can withdraw or modify this consent at any time through application settings.

6. How We Use Your Information

  • Service Provision: To host your data, run matching algorithms, and manage your accounts.
  • Monetization: To show advertisements that keep free tiers operating. This includes utilizing your interactions, application usage, and gaming data across platforms to deliver targeted advertisements through our partners (like Google AdSense).
  • Personalization: To suggest relevant content, connections, or ads (with your consent).
  • Safety: To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services. If you delete your account, backups may retain data for up to 30 days before being permanently purged, subject to legal and security retention requirements.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it immediately. Widdle and Stitch are for adults aged 18 and over. For participation in any financial or affiliate programs, users must be at least 18 years of age.

9. Your Data Rights

Regardless of our server location, you have the right to:

  • Access & Export: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Correction: Update inaccurate profile information.
  • Erasure: Delete your account and all associated data from our databases.
  • Opt-Out: Object to the processing of your data for direct marketing.

10. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect data in transit from your device to our servers. While we take extensive measures to secure our infrastructure, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
